Pensthorpe Natural Park has welcomed spring — it’s in full sprung! And there’s no better way to dive into the season than with this one of our things to do this Easter weekend.

The Great Easter Eggsploration involves a family-fun egg hunt, mini treasure hunt, free arts and crafts activities, stream splashing at WildRootz, and even Easter-themed treats in the relaxing café.

To ensure you don’t miss a thing, book your tickets before heading off. It’s £13.95 per adult and £12.95 for children, but under threes get in for free.

The Easter Egg Hunt

For just £1 you can take part in the egg hunt and win a chocolate prize. The hunt involves finding numbered Easter egg pictures, writing down where you found each egg on the supplied form, and sharing your results with the team to receive your prize!

The Easter Bonnet Competition

Burwell Museum is supplying a bunch of art and craft supplies for you to make your bonnet and share it on Facebook or Twitter. And yes, it’s for both children and adults! The team will judge the best child and adult bonnet separately, with the winners receiving a chocolate prize.

Windmill Tours

Again, for a mere £1 you can embark on a guided windmill tour. Purchase your tickets from the on-site Admission Cabin. But consider the heights of all your family members before going. The minimum height for the tours is 1.1 metres.

With that said, you’ll still have a fantastic time at this Easter things to do Cambridgeshire whether you tour the windmill or not!
