“Wow!!! What a gem! The Crafter’s Retreat has given us the perfect getaway, a chance to relax and unwind. It is a superb escape from normality.
The cabin is fully equipped, cosy and comfortable. The hot tub is amazing even in December.
The Welcome Book is very informative, full of information about the local area and great knowledge about the beaches that are within reach, and nearby shops, pubs and restaurants.
Our woodturning class with Simon was great fun and we both came away with a little memento to treasure.
Arbuckles is great for a meal out, about 7 miles away but well worth the trip. We both had steak which was cooked to perfection!

“The Crafter’s Retreat has been the perfect place to switch off, unwind and celebrate our 5th anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised at how well thought out everything was – every time we thought we needed something it was here, even bread and milk! We thought the guides to the area which were sent in advance were fantastic – we tried the Lamb & Flag and Arbuckles, both of which were amazing.
The facilities were really clean and everything was presented perfectly. The instructions provided were really clear, making it easy to use everything ... Thank you so much for having us, we will definitely by recommending getaways at the Crafter’s Retreat!”

Louise and Simon have really put a lot of thought into this place and the welcoming gifts are wonderful extras to make you feel welcome. The Elm Tree Inn is a fantastic place to eat with delicious food. We also hired a canoe from Marmont Hire and my husband had a flying lesson at Cambridgeshire Microlights. All in all we have had a memorable anniversary weekend 😊”

Loved the hydrotherapy hot spa. Also loved eating out on the veranda, overlooking the gardens and listening to the birds. We even heard an owl!
There was such gorgeous attention to detail throughout the cabin. The stained glass window is beautiful. Can't wait to book again. Would highly recommend as a perfect place to relax."
